[00:01:07] [SPEAKER_00]: us from Miranda.

[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_00]: And Miranda says, Hey Nic, I've been listening to your podcast for the past couple of months

[00:01:14] [SPEAKER_00]: now and I appreciate that you've created a platform for people to share their experiences

[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_00]: comfortably.

[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_00]: I have quite a few experiences from all over the spectrum, but today I'd like to

[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_00]: share a few of the same nature.

[00:01:28] [SPEAKER_00]: The first story is entitled, The Eyes.

[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_00]: When I was around 7 years old, my parents moved my brothers and I into a new house, new to

[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_00]: me that is.

[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_00]: The house was built in the 60s or 70s by our next door neighbor.

[00:01:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Almost immediately after moving into the Hogan Hill house, my brothers and I began

[00:01:47] [SPEAKER_00]: sleepwalking and talking as well as having night terrors.

[00:01:51] [SPEAKER_00]: It didn't happen every night, but I can certainly remember that it was often

[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_00]: enough for my mother to be freaked out.

[00:01:57] [SPEAKER_00]: This is just background for what I'm about to say next, a memory that I keep telling myself

[00:02:02] [SPEAKER_00]: over and over didn't happen.

[00:02:04] [SPEAKER_00]: But deep down, I know it did.

[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_00]: One night I was asleep in my bedroom and I awoke randomly to light.

[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I've always been light sensitive so the tiniest bit can awaken me easily.

[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_00]: I opened my eyes to view what appeared to be like evening time in my bedroom.

[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_00]: It was dim, but naturally lit.

[00:02:25] [SPEAKER_00]: The strange part was that I could see into the hallway and out there it appeared to still

[00:02:29] [SPEAKER_00]: be the dead of night.

[00:02:31] [SPEAKER_00]: I could move my head, but my body was frozen stiff.

[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_00]: That's when I saw them.

[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Five to six humanoid figures exploring my bedroom, except they were walking on the ceilings

[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_00]: and walls as if gravity wasn't an issue.

[00:02:46] [SPEAKER_00]: One was clung to my dresser and mirror.

[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I turned to my left to try and get out of bed and dash for the doorway, but as soon as

[00:02:52] [SPEAKER_00]: I looked over I caught the gaze of one of them face to face.

[00:02:57] [SPEAKER_00]: Its eyes were large and glossy and I instantly got lost in them.

[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_00]: The room seemed to melt away and it was dark again.

[00:03:05] [SPEAKER_00]: The next morning I woke up like any regular day.

[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I pleaded with my mom to sleep in my brother's room next door.

[00:03:13] [SPEAKER_00]: She let me do so for a few weeks.

[00:03:15] [SPEAKER_00]: He had an extra twin bed in there, so it worked out.

[00:03:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately this wasn't the end of my horrific experience.

[00:03:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I recall on three or four occasions waking to a loud buzzing noise.

[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_00]: When I opened my eyes all I could see was static, the type that you'd see on those

[00:03:31] [SPEAKER_00]: old school televisions.

[00:03:34] [SPEAKER_00]: The buzzing got louder and louder until it ceased.

[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_00]: And as soon as it got quiet I could see the face that haunted me for what seems

[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_00]: like the rest of my life.

[00:03:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Those black, glossy eyes are something that I'll never forget.

[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_00]: When I tried to blink the image away it was as if nothing changed.

[00:03:51] [SPEAKER_00]: It was still there regardless of my eyes being opened or shot.

[00:03:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I could hear my own screams inside of my head but I couldn't manage to get

[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_00]: any of them to come out.

[00:04:01] [SPEAKER_00]: When it came time for me to sleep in my own bedroom I chose to sleep on

[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_00]: the floor for a year.

[00:04:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I told myself that if I wasn't at eye level with them I wouldn't be so scared.

[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I've grown out of that by now but the fear still haunts me.

[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_00]: I was hesitant to share this story but recently I've experienced some strange

[00:04:20] [SPEAKER_00]: things at night.

[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I can still see the eyes.

[00:04:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Miranda's next story is called The Desert Walker.

[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Miranda says,

[00:04:32] [SPEAKER_00]: Quite some years ago my parents took us on a family trip to Arizona.

[00:04:36] [SPEAKER_00]: They scheduled this event where us kids could ride horses in the desert and

[00:04:40] [SPEAKER_00]: play some games on this sort of farm.

[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_00]: It took us one and a half hours off road to get to the place.

[00:04:46] [SPEAKER_00]: We had a lot of fun.

[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_00]: When the sun went down we got in our rental suburban and followed the

[00:04:51] [SPEAKER_00]: owners to get back to the main road.

[00:04:54] [SPEAKER_00]: The desert is a black hole at night.

[00:04:56] [SPEAKER_00]: You could not see anything besides the stars and what was allowed by

[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_00]: the headlights of our car.

[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I sat between my step sister in the middle seat and my stepfather

[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_00]: was driving.

[00:05:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Halfway through our trip on this gravel road in the middle of absolutely

[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_00]: nowhere I spotted something a few hundred feet away on the side of the

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_00]: road.

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_00]: As we drove closer I see it on my left about six inches from our car.

[00:05:20] [SPEAKER_00]: It was a lengthy person with a skinny awkward frame in a black cloak.

[00:05:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Their face was covered.

[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Their pale awkwardly shaped legs were also visible and they were holding

[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_00]: a long silver object.

[00:05:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I yelled at my step sister who was carelessly floating her hands and

[00:05:36] [SPEAKER_00]: face out the window to get back.

[00:05:39] [SPEAKER_00]: She screamed about one second after we had passed the figure.

[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_00]: The figure was so close to the car she could have touched it with

[00:05:45] [SPEAKER_00]: her hand.

[00:05:46] [SPEAKER_00]: My mother also had a delayed reaction and told my stepfather

[00:05:49] [SPEAKER_00]: to step on the gas because she thought the silver object was a

[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_00]: gun.

[00:05:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I had seen this thing up close and I knew it wasn't a gun.

[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_00]: It resembled a silver baseball bat without a tapered end or

[00:06:00] [SPEAKER_00]: grips and rounded out ends.

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I asked myself why someone would be out in the desert in the

[00:06:06] [SPEAKER_00]: middle of the night visibility was a solid zero without a

[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_00]: flashlight or a car it was absolutely bizarre.

[00:06:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for listening to my stories.

[00:06:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Cheryl and Cheryl's story is called Alien Portal Cube.

[00:06:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Cheryl says, Hi Nick I found your podcast and I'm really enjoying it.

[00:06:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I wanted to write in with one of my own experiences which happened

[00:06:39] [SPEAKER_00]: in winter up 2019.

[00:06:42] [SPEAKER_00]: For a little background my interest in the paranormal has been

[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_00]: lifelong and I have had several other strange occurrences in my life.

[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_00]: However this experience I'm sharing now still leaves me wanting more answers.

[00:06:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sharing in the hopes that it has happened to others who may

[00:06:57] [SPEAKER_00]: have had a better idea of what the hell this was.

[00:07:02] [SPEAKER_00]: It was the middle of the night and I found myself suddenly awake.

[00:07:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I laid there with my eyes closed for a bit listening closely to see if

[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_00]: perhaps one of my kids had called me or maybe some other sound had

[00:07:13] [SPEAKER_00]: woken me up.

[00:07:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm a solid sleeper so to awake with no cause was a little strange.

[00:07:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I opened my eyes shortly after and turned to my side to get

[00:07:22] [SPEAKER_00]: comfortable and fall back asleep.

[00:07:24] [SPEAKER_00]: That's when I noticed a sort of holographic cube floating in the

[00:07:28] [SPEAKER_00]: upper corner of my bedroom, the closest corner to me from the head of my bed.

[00:07:33] [SPEAKER_00]: The cube was transparent and I knew that because it had alternating

[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_00]: blue and red dots which were moving along the lines of the

[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_00]: perimeters and I could see right through the cube to find

[00:07:43] [SPEAKER_00]: the vertical and horizontal perimeter lines along the back of the cube

[00:07:47] [SPEAKER_00]: which was nestled into the corner.

[00:07:49] [SPEAKER_00]: It looked to be around six to eight inches wide.

[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_00]: I remember questioning repeatedly whether I was asleep or awake

[00:07:56] [SPEAKER_00]: and so I was blinking excessively to be sure that I did in fact have my eyes open.

[00:08:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I remember having that dry stinging feeling on my eyes that happens

[00:08:05] [SPEAKER_00]: anytime I try to keep my eyes open when I'm very tired.

[00:08:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I was terrified and even though my husband was asleep right next to me,

[00:08:12] [SPEAKER_00]: for some reason my reaction was to sink down into the blankets

[00:08:15] [SPEAKER_00]: and cover my head like a child would do.

[00:08:18] [SPEAKER_00]: Being a rather spiritual person, I started in my head asking for my

[00:08:23] [SPEAKER_00]: guardians to be present in the room and to fill my room with

[00:08:26] [SPEAKER_00]: strong energies of all that's good and benevolent.

[00:08:30] [SPEAKER_00]: After frantically repeating this prayer several times,

[00:08:33] [SPEAKER_00]: I decided I would grab my cell phone on the nightstand next to me.

[00:08:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I wanted it for a source of light and I also thought that it would

[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_00]: further confirm to me that I was indeed awake.

[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_00]: I popped my head out of the blanket, looked into the corner,

[00:08:46] [SPEAKER_00]: and the cube was no longer there.

[00:08:48] [SPEAKER_00]: I grabbed my cell phone and checked the time and it was 1.33 am.

[00:08:53] [SPEAKER_00]: As I mentioned, I am quite spiritual and past experiences of mine, too many to count,

[00:08:58] [SPEAKER_00]: have taught me to pay close attention to repeated sequences of numbers,

[00:09:02] [SPEAKER_00]: most especially in major events.

[00:09:05] [SPEAKER_00]: While it may sound silly to some, I took the double threes as reassurance that my

[00:09:09] [SPEAKER_00]: guardians were present.

[00:09:11] [SPEAKER_00]: The whole occurrence might have lasted three to four minutes.

[00:09:16] [SPEAKER_00]: This experience left me pretty shaken, afraid to sleep at night,

[00:09:19] [SPEAKER_00]: and because it wasn't like anything I had ever heard of before,

[00:09:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I decided that I would set up a phone call with a psychic about a week later.

[00:09:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I tried my best not to give away too much information in my question,

[00:09:30] [SPEAKER_00]: and I asked her if she had anything to say about the cube in my room.

[00:09:35] [SPEAKER_00]: That was how I phrased it.

[00:09:37] [SPEAKER_00]: She then told me that a portal had opened in my room

[00:09:40] [SPEAKER_00]: and advised me to cleanse the room and house.

[00:09:44] [SPEAKER_00]: My hopes are that you'll share this story and that anyone with a similar experience

[00:09:48] [SPEAKER_00]: will write in as well.

[00:09:50] [SPEAKER_00]: It has been three years, and I am still searching for confirmation on whether this could have

[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_00]: been a portal, or perhaps it was something else.

[00:10:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I Still Don't Think That Birds Fly Backwards.

[00:10:28] [SPEAKER_00]: Sabrina says,

[00:10:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Hello.

[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_00]: About six or seven years ago next month,

[00:10:33] [SPEAKER_00]: when I was 16 or 17,

[00:10:35] [SPEAKER_00]: I had woken up to a rather nice Saturday morning in November, I think.

[00:10:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Usually, me and my brother who's 16 months younger than me would walk our family dog,

[00:10:44] [SPEAKER_00]: Guinness, in the mornings.

[00:10:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Guinness was a German short hair and great Pyrenees mix,

[00:10:49] [SPEAKER_00]: with lots of energy since he was barely two at the time.

[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_00]: We would walk him in a subdivision consisting of four blocks long and about two blocks wide.

[00:10:58] [SPEAKER_00]: The entire cul-de-sac was surrounded by a six-foot vinyl fence,

[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_00]: except for the only two entrances and exits.

[00:11:05] [SPEAKER_00]: On this particular morning, however, I was walking the dog by myself.

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_00]: I remembered that the day wasn't too cold for late autumn in Ontario, Oregon.

[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_00]: As I was walking around the first corner,

[00:11:16] [SPEAKER_00]: something biological caught my eye flying roughly 10 feet above the house,

[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_00]: which was probably 20 to 25 feet tall.

[00:11:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I turned to look, thinking that it was a bird,

[00:11:26] [SPEAKER_00]: as living near the Snake River,

[00:11:27] [SPEAKER_00]: it wasn't uncommon to see pelicans or Canadian geese flying.

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_00]: What I saw couldn't have been a normal bird,

[00:11:34] [SPEAKER_00]: seeing as it had a long, slender tail that resembled the neck of a Canadian goose,

[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_00]: if it could fly backwards and was 10 times larger.

[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_00]: The creature was flying quickly and silently.

[00:11:46] [SPEAKER_00]: It was grayish olive with black patterns I can't explain.

[00:11:49] [SPEAKER_00]: It seemed mottled, and it had a wingspan of at least 15 feet, wingtip to wingtip.

[00:11:56] [SPEAKER_00]: The wings looked kind of bat-like, but more club shaped.

[00:11:59] [SPEAKER_00]: The tail was tapered in the fact that it really looked like a goose head attached to the tail

[00:12:04] [SPEAKER_00]: that resembled a goose neck straightened out while flying, except traveling backwards.

[00:12:10] [SPEAKER_00]: The dog, Guinness, as well as a neighbor in his garage didn't even notice it.

[00:12:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Then when I tried to grab my phone to take a picture while running to keep up with it,

[00:12:18] [SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't open my camera app fast enough to snap a picture.

[00:12:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I have tried sketching it and have included a sketch.

[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, it resembled a dragon,

[00:12:27] [SPEAKER_00]: but I honestly can't say what it was.

[00:12:30] [SPEAKER_00]: My family didn't seem to believe me when I told them about it,

[00:12:33] [SPEAKER_00]: but I know I saw something strange that day.

[00:12:36] [SPEAKER_00]: I've never seen it again, either.

[00:12:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I love listening to the podcast at work and have been listening for a week or two.

[00:13:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I am a huge fan and love the podcast and want to thank you for everything you and whoever has

[00:13:11] [SPEAKER_00]: helped you on your way to podcast greatness.

[00:13:14] [SPEAKER_00]: I grew up and live close to the Leech Lake Reservation of Ojibwa.

[00:13:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I am an enrolled member and have always been very spiritually connected to the earth

[00:13:23] [SPEAKER_00]: through my culture.

[00:13:25] [SPEAKER_00]: My story has three different experiences with the paranormal.

[00:13:29] [SPEAKER_00]: I will only talk about two now since they are so short,

[00:13:32] [SPEAKER_00]: and I'll save the next one for another time.

[00:13:35] [SPEAKER_00]: The first part of my story is from when I was a toddler.

[00:13:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I was maybe around three or so.

[00:13:40] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't really remember, but as I am the last surviving family member who experienced it,

[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_00]: I feel it's my duty to pass on the story.

[00:13:49] [SPEAKER_00]: My mom and dad were driving over this bridge called Winnie Dam, and it's a long bridge.

[00:13:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I was standing in the middle of the seat just being a three-year-old back in the early 90s

[00:13:59] [SPEAKER_00]: with no seatbelt.

[00:14:00] [SPEAKER_00]: About the start of the drive through the bridge,

[00:14:03] [SPEAKER_00]: my mom and dad both noticed that the car coming towards us was the same as the one

[00:14:07] [SPEAKER_00]: that we were in, and as they got closer, they noticed that it was the same color as well.

[00:14:12] [SPEAKER_00]: By the time they met, my mom who was in the passenger seat had her mouth open

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_00]: with shock as she asked my dad if he saw it too.

[00:14:21] [SPEAKER_00]: He said yeah, and they took off a little faster due to my dad being so creeped out.

[00:14:26] [SPEAKER_00]: And to the day they died, both by suicide but different years and not really related,

[00:14:31] [SPEAKER_00]: they said that they saw themselves and even me as a baby in that oncoming car,

[00:14:36] [SPEAKER_00]: looking at them in the same clothes and same facial expressions and everything.

[00:14:42] [SPEAKER_00]: If you have heard of this or some kind of doppelgangers like this,

[00:14:45] [SPEAKER_00]: I would really love to know about their experience also.

[00:14:49] [SPEAKER_00]: The second part of my story has to do with something else entirely.

[00:14:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I was staying at my grandmother's house with my daughter and she was around five years old.

[00:14:58] [SPEAKER_00]: This was the summer of 2015.

[00:15:01] [SPEAKER_00]: I was sleeping but kind of still aware, not fully asleep yet but not all the way awake either.

[00:15:07] [SPEAKER_00]: My sister and my auntie had boyfriends that I didn't trust and still don't,

[00:15:11] [SPEAKER_00]: and they were there too.

[00:15:13] [SPEAKER_00]: My sister's room was down this hallway from the living room and this was where me and my daughter

[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_00]: slept on the floor on a mattress. My daughter was closest to the hallway.

[00:15:23] [SPEAKER_00]: I then noticed someone walking toward where we were sleeping from that hallway,

[00:15:28] [SPEAKER_00]: but the figure was bathed in light. Not bright light either, but a dark kind of light.

[00:15:34] [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, this figure walked towards us and was standing looking down at my daughter,

[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_00]: and since I thought it might be one of those no good boyfriends,

[00:15:41] [SPEAKER_00]: I got mad and started to get up. I was thinking aggressively and I had fighting on my mind.

[00:15:47] [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't get very far. My arms and head got held down suddenly by an invisible force

[00:15:53] [SPEAKER_00]: and forced me onto my back and then twisted my head the other way,

[00:15:58] [SPEAKER_00]: and the whole time I was held down all I could hear was a ringing in my head.

[00:16:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I fought it as hard as I could, but the figure left and disappeared outside

[00:16:07] [SPEAKER_00]: with another bright burst of dark light. I think it was light that we as humans can't place,

[00:16:13] [SPEAKER_00]: so we call it light, but it's like a presence. I hate thinking about how powerless I was for

[00:16:19] [SPEAKER_00]: those five seconds I was unable to defend my baby. Nothing has happened like that since

[00:16:25] [SPEAKER_00]: at my grandmother's house. Thank you for letting me share my story.

[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_00]: I know my past is dark and I have a lot of trauma in my life with my parents and other

[00:16:35] [SPEAKER_00]: things I didn't mention, but I am doing really well now with the love of my life

[00:16:40] [SPEAKER_00]: and all of our beautiful children. I thank you, Nick, for all you do and want to congratulate

[00:16:46] [SPEAKER_00]: you on doing such a good job with that five-star podcast. I love what you do and ever since

[00:16:51] [SPEAKER_00]: that experience in 2015, I was always a very cynical person full of negative views about

[00:17:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Hi Nick, I must say that I've never been one to see or feel energy from the other side.

[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_00]: However, my husband Andrew is very in tune to spirits and paranormal energy.

[00:17:28] [SPEAKER_00]: When we first met, he lived in an apartment. He woke me up one day asking if I had wrote

[00:17:33] [SPEAKER_00]: anything on the mirror in the bathroom after I showered. I was confused and assured him that

[00:17:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't write anything on the mirror. Apparently when the steam hit the mirror,

[00:17:42] [SPEAKER_00]: there was a lot of writing in a foreign language that he couldn't read to understand.

[00:17:46] [SPEAKER_00]: A couple nights later, I was spending the night at his apartment, and the next day

[00:17:50] [SPEAKER_00]: he said that he woke up and there was a shadow standing over me. He said it was

[00:17:55] [SPEAKER_00]: an older lady, and when he tried to wake me up, he was unable to speak.

[00:18:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Years went on with us getting married and moving into a house. He had always told me

[00:18:04] [SPEAKER_00]: little stories about what he saw, and as it would kind of freak me out, I would shrug it off.

[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_00]: That was all until one night when we had a lot of bad things happening,

[00:18:14] [SPEAKER_00]: and he swore it was a bad spirit in our house. He bought sage and told me that we had to go

[00:18:19] [SPEAKER_00]: room to room with the sage and demand the energy out of our house. He told me I had to be

[00:18:24] [SPEAKER_00]: completely confident when doing this or it would get worse. I started the whole thing being

[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_00]: confident until things started falling over. All the dishes in the sink fell to the side,

[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_00]: and a vase I had on the ledge over the sink fell over. I started getting scared and he

[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_00]: made me leave the house with our two dogs. As I was leaving, all of our landscaping

[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_00]: lights started flickering on and off. It was night and it had never done that before.

[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Needless to say, the dogs and I ran from the house and walked the neighborhood.

[00:18:56] [SPEAKER_00]: He said that he got two bad energies out of the house, and it did feel lighter once we returned home.

[00:19:03] [SPEAKER_00]: I always ask him if he feels any spirits or bad energy, and he always says that he doesn't.

[00:19:08] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure if he's telling the truth or afraid that I'll freak out.

[00:19:30] [SPEAKER_02]: Hello Nick. I like all of the others would like to thank you for developing this podcast.

[00:19:36] [SPEAKER_02]: It has been wonderful to hear so many accounts of the strange or paranormal events

[00:19:41] [SPEAKER_02]: that happen on our little blue planet. I'd like to share my stories as well as recount

[00:19:47] [SPEAKER_02]: some stories told to me by older members of my father's family.

[00:19:52] [SPEAKER_02]: My father's grandmother was a practitioner of Pow Wow, by the way.

[00:19:57] [SPEAKER_02]: More on that at another time. I will start with possibly my first encounter.

[00:20:04] [SPEAKER_02]: When I was 10 years old, my parents and I lived above a bar slash restaurant.

[00:20:08] [SPEAKER_02]: It was rather famous for its crab cakes at the time.

[00:20:12] [SPEAKER_02]: The apartment is very spacious and my bedroom was at the top of the stairs to the right.

[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_02]: I had been reading the book Black Beauty. I remember I had a wicker bedside table,

[00:20:24] [SPEAKER_02]: which I laid it on after reading each portion.

[00:20:28] [SPEAKER_02]: My parents had found a semi-detached home for rent that year, a few blocks away.

[00:20:35] [SPEAKER_02]: This home was 200 years old at least and had originally been a millhouse.

[00:20:40] [SPEAKER_02]: It was off of a main road yet secluded, surrounded by forest as well as waterfalls and a creek.

[00:20:49] [SPEAKER_02]: Before we started moving, I had noticed that my book had disappeared.

[00:20:54] [SPEAKER_02]: I remember searching for it and coming up empty-handed.

[00:20:59] [SPEAKER_02]: Fast forward almost seven or eight years and I am now in high school.

[00:21:03] [SPEAKER_02]: I must point out that initially when we moved to this home,

[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_02]: my bedroom was on the second floor. As I got older and more concerned about privacy,

[00:21:13] [SPEAKER_02]: I moved to one of the third floor attic rooms.

[00:21:17] [SPEAKER_02]: One day, and I can't remember why, I was looking under my bed

[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_02]: and noticed a book lying on the floor under it.

[00:21:24] [SPEAKER_02]: It was positioned as if it had just been quickly tossed under there.

[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_02]: I pulled it out and yep, you guessed it.

[00:21:33] [SPEAKER_02]: It was black beauty and it wasn't even dusty.

[00:22:16] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, the reason I'm reaching out now is because...

[00:22:24] [SPEAKER_01]: Ooh, it's talking about it.

[00:22:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm being followed.

[00:22:32] [SPEAKER_01]: Ever since I was six years old, I've felt this presence.

[00:22:38] [SPEAKER_01]: Just outside of my view.

[00:22:41] [SPEAKER_01]: I wear glasses, I have a stigmatism and a few other things.

[00:22:46] [SPEAKER_01]: A lazy eye and stuff like that.

[00:22:47] [SPEAKER_01]: I have really good control over it.

[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_01]: I just can't ever really see it.

[00:22:54] [SPEAKER_01]: So I've been a skeptic because of the way I can explain things, I guess.

[00:23:00] [SPEAKER_01]: The way I process information.

[00:23:04] [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think I am now.

[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I clean pools and I just got done with my last pool that is basically a vacant property.

[00:23:18] [SPEAKER_01]: It's owned by a real estate company.

[00:23:21] [SPEAKER_01]: It's been on the market for a while, now we've been servicing it.

[00:23:23] [SPEAKER_01]: I just started this job.

[00:23:28] [SPEAKER_01]: I'm cleaning the pool and I'm looking because normally there's blinds on the sliding glass doors in the back.

[00:23:42] [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they were open and inside I could see it was vacant.

[00:23:48] [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I guess curiosity got the better of me.

[00:23:54] [SPEAKER_01]: There's a staircase and as I'm cleaning the tiles, just doing my rounds.

[00:24:01] [SPEAKER_01]: I look one way and then I finish my circle around the pool.

[00:24:07] [SPEAKER_01]: I look in because I start feeling this calling, you know, this pull.

[00:24:18] [SPEAKER_01]: And I'm looking and as I look up, I see that there is a figure descending downstairs.

[00:24:27] [SPEAKER_01]: Elegantly, you know, it was a womanly figure dressed in black.

[00:24:36] [SPEAKER_01]: Kind of looked like a dementor from Harry Potter, but I've seen her before.

[00:24:40] [SPEAKER_01]: I referred to her as the nun.

[00:24:43] [SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, this takes me back from when I was six years old going down my grandma's property with my siblings and going out past this property line Puerto Rico and the mountains.

[00:25:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And it was a bit of a foresty area.

[00:25:05] [SPEAKER_01]: So with that being said, we would go down into the like the forest area and just explore.

[00:25:14] [SPEAKER_01]: We came across this clearing after finding these big slabs of like white stones or gray stones.

[00:25:23] [SPEAKER_01]: Normally they're like black because those are the normal ones, but silver ones.

[00:25:28] [SPEAKER_01]: They look like they were kind of used as building blocks and stuff.

[00:25:34] [SPEAKER_01]: And we start finding more and more of these and we come across like a clearing where there's like no grass.

[00:25:45] [SPEAKER_01]: It's just dirt, just weird.

[00:25:48] [SPEAKER_01]: And the second we go through this, we stop here in the birds and it just got really quiet.

[00:26:00] [SPEAKER_01]: And then I felt pressure in my head and then like I felt something that pull that I felt earlier today.

[00:26:11] [SPEAKER_01]: I felt it then too.

[00:26:13] [SPEAKER_01]: It told me basically to just look to my right or look to my left, you know, wherever the direction is pulling me to I just look and there was that lady.

[00:26:24] [SPEAKER_01]: That nun. I don't know what it means.

[00:26:32] [SPEAKER_01]: This is only the second time I've ever encountered her since then, but it's definitely got me freaked out.

[00:26:40] [SPEAKER_01]: So if anybody has any idea about this, just let me know.
