[00:01:11] [SPEAKER_00]: And Mike's story is called The Repeating Driver.

[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_00]: Mike says,

[00:01:16] [SPEAKER_00]: It was late spring or early summer 2019.

[00:01:20] [SPEAKER_00]: I was living in Florida at the time and took a week's trip back home to Ohio to

[00:01:25] [SPEAKER_00]: introduce my spouse to my family.

[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_00]: We stayed in a hotel in Columbus because there's only so much family a person can take for

[00:01:32] [SPEAKER_00]: an entire week.

[00:01:33] [SPEAKER_00]: And Saturday night, we decided to drive to Old Man's Cave the next morning.

[00:01:38] [SPEAKER_00]: For those that don't know, Old Man's Cave is a place in the hills of southeast Ohio

[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_00]: that's run by the Ohio DNR.

[00:01:46] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like a tiny Grand Canyon in the forested hills of the area.

[00:01:50] [SPEAKER_00]: It has hiking trails, a gorge, waterfalls and other scenic areas.

[00:01:55] [SPEAKER_00]: It's a very popular destination for the area and got its name because a long time

[00:02:00] [SPEAKER_00]: ago an old man was known to live in an overhead rock formation.

[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, we got up early to head out.

[00:02:08] [SPEAKER_00]: The trip from our hotel was about a one to one and a half hour drive depending on traffic.

[00:02:13] [SPEAKER_00]: The main road was a state route going from Columbus southeast.

[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_00]: The road was typically a four-lane road, two lanes going in each direction and divided

[00:02:22] [SPEAKER_00]: most times by a grassy median in the middle.

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_00]: As we entered onto the state route from the outer belt of Columbus, the traffic was

[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_00]: expectedly light as it was around 8am on a Sunday morning.

[00:02:35] [SPEAKER_00]: Not being in a hurry, I placed the cruise control on a couple ticks about the speed

[00:02:39] [SPEAKER_00]: limit and got into the right lane.

[00:02:42] [SPEAKER_00]: We came upon an accident on the road involving two cars.

[00:02:45] [SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't serious, but the two-lane road was down to one lane to get around the

[00:02:50] [SPEAKER_00]: cars.

[00:02:51] [SPEAKER_00]: Once the road opened back up to two lanes, I assumed position in the right lane,

[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_00]: hit the resume on the cruise control, and settled down to a relaxing driver.

[00:03:01] [SPEAKER_00]: On my left, I became aware of an older white man in a mint condition mid-1980s

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_00]: Tan Ford Ranger.

[00:03:08] [SPEAKER_00]: He passed me slowly without paying any mind to us in my car.

[00:03:12] [SPEAKER_00]: I was struck by how well this truck was maintained.

[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_00]: There was no rust, no dense, and a shine that bordered on a showroom shine.

[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_00]: As he passed, I looked ahead and I noticed a car merging onto the highway from the

[00:03:25] [SPEAKER_00]: right.

[00:03:26] [SPEAKER_00]: I changed lanes as I was going slightly faster than the merging car.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_00]: As I got closer, I noticed it was a more recent gray or silver Chevy Cavalier

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_00]: with West Virginia license plates.

[00:03:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Being as we were going towards West Virginia, I thought nothing of it,

[00:03:41] [SPEAKER_00]: but as Cavaliers haven't been made in some time, I took note at how again the car looked to be in

[00:03:47] [SPEAKER_00]: great condition.

[00:03:48] [SPEAKER_00]: As the car merged onto the road, I slowly crept past.

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_00]: Looking over, I saw a cute, little older, late 60s or early 70s black woman wearing

[00:03:57] [SPEAKER_00]: glasses, a hat and a dress.

[00:04:00] [SPEAKER_00]: The hat and the dress matched each other with their flower print,

[00:04:03] [SPEAKER_00]: and I assumed being early Sunday morning that she was going to church.

[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I passed her and she didn't seem to notice me.

[00:04:10] [SPEAKER_00]: No big deal.

[00:04:11] [SPEAKER_00]: As I got around her, I moved back into the right lane and a few car lengths in front of her.

[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_00]: I then watched in my rear view mirror as her car got smaller and smaller until it was gone.

[00:04:22] [SPEAKER_00]: It should be known that since I passed the accident, the only time I turned off the

[00:04:27] [SPEAKER_00]: cruise control is when I came to an area with a lower speed limit,

[00:04:30] [SPEAKER_00]: and looking back I don't remember any oncoming cars on the other side of the road,

[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_00]: nor did we stop to get anything to eat, drink, get gas or use the bathroom on this trip.

[00:04:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Several minutes later back up to speed I saw a car in the distance.

[00:04:46] [SPEAKER_00]: As I got slower, I saw it was a silver or gray car.

[00:04:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Then I saw that it was a Chevy Cavalier with West Virginia plates.

[00:04:54] [SPEAKER_00]: I slowly passed it, looked over and it was the same little black lady.

[00:04:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I wondered how she had passed me without me knowing as I was going faster than her,

[00:05:03] [SPEAKER_00]: and I'm a hyper attentive driver. Somehow she must have got past me, I thought,

[00:05:08] [SPEAKER_00]: so I shook it off and continued on, making sure that I paid strict attention to my surroundings.

[00:05:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Several minutes later, I saw a car in the distance.

[00:05:17] [SPEAKER_00]: As I got closer, I saw that it was a silver or gray car with West Virginia plates.

[00:05:23] [SPEAKER_00]: My heart started beating hard as I knew this couldn't be the same woman because

[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I knew no one had passed me, much less her.

[00:05:31] [SPEAKER_00]: As I slowly passed her, I looked over and guess who?

[00:05:35] [SPEAKER_00]: It was the same lady, driving the same car at the same speed,

[00:05:39] [SPEAKER_00]: and she didn't seem to notice me.

[00:05:41] [SPEAKER_00]: As I passed her, I became alarmed as something weird was happening, but I didn't know what.

[00:05:47] [SPEAKER_00]: As I'm trying to understand this, I see a car in the distance.

[00:05:50] [SPEAKER_00]: Surely not, I thought, and as I get closer, yep, West Virginia plates, gray or silver Cavalier,

[00:05:57] [SPEAKER_00]: and as I pass it and look over, the same old lady in a matching dress and hat.

[00:06:03] [SPEAKER_00]: By now I'm feeling flush, but I keep going, not saying anything to my spouse who was deep

[00:06:09] [SPEAKER_00]: into their phone. I kept driving, and after several minutes, off in the distance,

[00:06:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I see a silver car again. I won't type up what happened, as it's the same thing that

[00:06:18] [SPEAKER_00]: happened from the earlier times. After I pass this car, again, I start to think

[00:06:24] [SPEAKER_00]: that I'm losing my mind. As I start going down a hill on the road, I look forward,

[00:06:29] [SPEAKER_00]: and going up the other side of the hill is a small, silver or gray car. It's too far away

[00:06:34] [SPEAKER_00]: for me to see the plates or to tell what kind of car it is, but I think, if it's this woman

[00:06:39] [SPEAKER_00]: again, I'm going to lose it. About that time I see a sign pointing to Old Man's Cave.

[00:06:45] [SPEAKER_00]: I turn right at the next road and head that direction.

[00:06:49] [SPEAKER_00]: We finish out the day there, head back to the hotel and have dinner,

[00:06:52] [SPEAKER_00]: and didn't have anything else weird happen that trip. Unfortunately, I never got to see who was in

[00:06:58] [SPEAKER_00]: that silver or gray car, off in the distance. Old Man's Cave is the starting edge of the

[00:07:05] [SPEAKER_00]: Appalachian Mountains, and a lot of weird things happen there. I guess this will have to be

[00:07:10] [SPEAKER_00]: chalked up to some of that weirdness. Our next listener experience comes to us from Natalia,

[00:07:18] [SPEAKER_00]: and Natalia's story is called, Our Friendly Little Ghosts. Natalia says,

[00:07:25] [SPEAKER_00]: Love your podcast. My family, while taking the occasional pleasure in watching or listening

[00:07:30] [SPEAKER_00]: to paranormal things, used to be very logical and analytical when it came to that stuff,

[00:07:36] [SPEAKER_00]: yet sometimes really weird and unexplained things would happen to us.

[00:07:40] [SPEAKER_00]: Usually we'd just brush it off or move on. Then about 13 years ago, we moved into our

[00:07:46] [SPEAKER_00]: new home. This house is pretty old, being completed in the 1910s I think. It's a beautiful location,

[00:07:52] [SPEAKER_00]: and we love it. But strange things happen here a lot. My first personal experience happened when

[00:07:59] [SPEAKER_00]: I was taking a bath about 10 or 11 years ago. I suddenly got the strange feeling that I was

[00:08:04] [SPEAKER_00]: being watched. When I looked over, a figure was standing right there. I think it might have been

[00:08:10] [SPEAKER_00]: a young child, but it's hard to remember what it looked like. I was pretty young myself,

[00:08:14] [SPEAKER_00]: so the memory is kind of fuzzy. I had told my parents of the incident, but it wasn't until a couple

[00:08:20] [SPEAKER_00]: years later that I was told of everything that went on in the house. I'll try to be as short as

[00:08:25] [SPEAKER_00]: possible, since there's a lot to unwrap. The very first strange happening that occurred was seen

[00:08:32] [SPEAKER_00]: by my father, who is an extremely logical man even now. My parents' room is downstairs,

[00:08:39] [SPEAKER_00]: situated in what used to be the study back when the house was owned by the people who built

[00:08:43] [SPEAKER_00]: it. On one of the first nights in our new home of the time, my father, being a very light sleeper,

[00:08:49] [SPEAKER_00]: woke up to the sound of footsteps on the stairs. The stairs and the upstairs hallway are the oldest

[00:08:54] [SPEAKER_00]: parts of the house, surviving three fires, so they're very creaky. He just figured it was me

[00:09:00] [SPEAKER_00]: coming downstairs since the footsteps sounded very small and almost childlike. He called out my

[00:09:07] [SPEAKER_00]: name, but nothing answered. The footsteps continued until they reached the bottom step

[00:09:12] [SPEAKER_00]: when they stopped. When he went to check it out, he found nothing. Still years later, every now and

[00:09:18] [SPEAKER_00]: then, he or my mom will hear those very same footsteps. The next instance is from my older

[00:09:25] [SPEAKER_00]: brother. When I was small, I used to leave toys out on my floor and my door open. Down the hall

[00:09:31] [SPEAKER_00]: outside my room is a large picture, and past that is my brother's room, which the stairs

[00:09:36] [SPEAKER_00]: are in front of. He was walking up the stairs when he caught a reflection in the glass. It was a small

[00:09:43] [SPEAKER_00]: girl that looked very similar in features to me. She was staring at the toys on the floor.

[00:09:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Confused since I was supposed to be in school, he walked over to ask what I was doing, only

[00:09:54] [SPEAKER_00]: to find out that no one was there. He then got a really strange feeling, but not technically

[00:09:59] [SPEAKER_00]: an unwelcome feeling. He didn't think anything of it though and didn't even tell me until

[00:10:05] [SPEAKER_00]: months later. My other brother was sleeping on the couch downstairs one night, half asleep.

[00:10:11] [SPEAKER_00]: It was around midnight when he said that he suddenly heard light footsteps. Then,

[00:10:15] [SPEAKER_00]: someone's hand brushed the hair from his face. He described it as a sort of loving feeling,

[00:10:21] [SPEAKER_00]: like a family member. He thought it was my mom, but she swears up and down that she never even

[00:10:26] [SPEAKER_00]: woke up that night. As well, things have disappeared and reappeared in the house.

[00:10:31] [SPEAKER_00]: Some things have disappeared entirely. It's always been really strange whenever that happens.

[00:10:38] [SPEAKER_00]: We didn't really know what went on, though we knew all the sightings, some of which I didn't

[00:10:42] [SPEAKER_00]: mention here because it would have taken too long, weren't normal. Then one day a small group

[00:10:48] [SPEAKER_00]: of women drove into our driveway and started taking pictures. When my parents confronted them,

[00:10:53] [SPEAKER_00]: the group turned out to be the descendants of the people who first built and lived in

[00:10:57] [SPEAKER_00]: the home, one of which was an old woman who was the last member of the family to live there before

[00:11:02] [SPEAKER_00]: it was sold. They told us of the history of the house in detail and we figured out quite a bit.

[00:11:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Turns out the only person to technically die in the home as far as they know was a young boy

[00:11:14] [SPEAKER_00]: named Robert, the old woman's twin brother. He died of pneumonia on Christmas Day at the age

[00:11:20] [SPEAKER_00]: of five. The old woman said that he was very mischievous and loved playing tricks

[00:11:25] [SPEAKER_00]: which perhaps could explain some things. But as to why we were seeing a young girl is still a mystery

[00:11:31] [SPEAKER_00]: and my mother could only think of one strange possibility, a family member of our own.

[00:11:38] [SPEAKER_00]: While we were living here, around just a little before that sighting I had in the bath,

[00:11:43] [SPEAKER_00]: as mentioned earlier, my mom was pregnant with a girl. She was far enough along to

[00:11:48] [SPEAKER_00]: tell the gender and they picked out a few names. Then suddenly the baby's heart stopped

[00:11:53] [SPEAKER_00]: in the womb and my mom miscarried on Valentine's Day. They never did figure out why the heart suddenly

[00:12:00] [SPEAKER_00]: stopped when everything seemed normal and healthy, but my parents were extremely distraught about it.

[00:12:07] [SPEAKER_00]: My mom named the baby Valentine, but was and still is hesitant to bring it up since it's a hard

[00:12:13] [SPEAKER_00]: subject. That's when the little girl sightings started occurring. I'm still a little skeptical,

[00:12:19] [SPEAKER_00]: but it could make sense and I wouldn't exactly be surprised if that's what it was.

[00:12:25] [SPEAKER_00]: This all being said, when you walk into the house or see one of these sightings,

[00:12:29] [SPEAKER_00]: it's not a scary feeling. To be honest, it's a happy feeling. The families who've lived here

[00:12:35] [SPEAKER_00]: were all very happy with their lives from what we've seen and although Robert and our own little

[00:12:40] [SPEAKER_00]: ghost Valentine died here, these sightings aren't very concerning anymore. We still hear

[00:12:46] [SPEAKER_00]: the occasional footsteps and sometimes even see figures in mirrors or feel things, but most of us

[00:12:52] [SPEAKER_00]: aren't very scared. My family honestly has a lot of strange, maybe even paranormal things happen to them,

[00:12:58] [SPEAKER_00]: so maybe I'll share some more in the future. I probably seem crazy, but a lot of people have

[00:13:04] [SPEAKER_00]: witnessed the stuff that goes on in the house, not just my family. Almost any overnight guest

[00:13:09] [SPEAKER_00]: that has stayed here has mentioned to us the strange noises in the upstairs hallway and on

[00:13:15] [SPEAKER_00]: the stairs. Anyway, I wanted to share these stories with you really because I haven't told

[00:13:20] [SPEAKER_00]: hardly anyone these things and neither has the rest of my family. Thank you for listening to me

[00:13:45] [SPEAKER_00]: The following incident occurred when my father was a teenager. When my dad and his brother were

[00:13:50] [SPEAKER_00]: teenagers, they would often fall asleep watching TV in the living room. On this specific occasion,

[00:13:56] [SPEAKER_00]: my dad was awakened in the late hours of the night by a loud noise. My dad turned back to see a young

[00:14:02] [SPEAKER_00]: boy of approximately four years of age drumming on a pot with a metal spoon in the dining room.

[00:14:08] [SPEAKER_00]: My dad yelled at the boy to go back to bed as he thought it was one of his younger siblings.

[00:14:13] [SPEAKER_00]: My dad's angry voice woke my uncle David, who was sleeping on the couch.

[00:14:17] [SPEAKER_00]: When my uncle looked back into the dining room, he immediately covered his head with a blanket in

[00:14:22] [SPEAKER_00]: fear. Dad again told the boy to go back to bed and then realized that it wasn't any of his

[00:14:27] [SPEAKER_00]: younger siblings when the boy turned to smile at him and slowly walked into the kitchen.

[00:14:34] [SPEAKER_00]: This angered my father and he stood up to chase the boy but was unable to find anyone in

[00:14:39] [SPEAKER_00]: the kitchen. Upon returning to the living room, my dad asked my uncle who was still under the covers

[00:14:44] [SPEAKER_00]: if he recognized the child. Uncle David said, What bully? Didn't you see the dog?

[00:14:51] [SPEAKER_00]: My uncle was adamant about having seen a large black dog run into the kitchen, whereas my dad

[00:14:57] [SPEAKER_00]: saw a young boy who smiled a sly smile before slowly walking into the kitchen.

[00:15:03] [SPEAKER_00]: Uncle David has long passed but even in his last days, he and my father could never agree

[00:15:08] [SPEAKER_00]: on what they saw in their home so many years ago. Our next listener story of the night comes to us

[00:15:18] [SPEAKER_00]: from John and John's story is called Doppelgangers. John says, Mr. Ryan, I took a road trip this

[00:15:27] [SPEAKER_00]: past weekend and remained sane thanks to listening to your podcast on my six hour drive north and

[00:15:33] [SPEAKER_00]: then eight horrible hours back home. I can't imagine what that trip would have been had

[00:15:38] [SPEAKER_00]: I not been listening to your show. I felt compelled to email you about something that happened to me

[00:15:44] [SPEAKER_00]: a very long time ago. I'm currently 50 years old and this event occurred when I was about 10.

[00:15:50] [SPEAKER_00]: It was early evening and my brother and I were wearing our PJs for bed but we were goofing off

[00:15:55] [SPEAKER_00]: and playing some version of hide and seek. My parents house had a bathroom at the top

[00:16:00] [SPEAKER_00]: of the stairs on the second floor so I decided to run in there to hide behind the door,

[00:16:04] [SPEAKER_00]: leaving the door open as to not make it too obvious that I was in there as the bathroom door was always

[00:16:10] [SPEAKER_00]: left open when not occupied of course. So I run up there, enter and start to pull the door closed

[00:16:17] [SPEAKER_00]: as I can squeeze behind it and the door backs up against the side of the tub. I then came

[00:16:22] [SPEAKER_00]: face to face within four inches of myself. He or me was wearing the same PJs I had on

[00:16:30] [SPEAKER_00]: and was absolutely identical to me. It was me. The only odd thing was that he was smiling a huge

[00:16:36] [SPEAKER_00]: dumb smile that I still think about and feel embarrassed about like just a face that you'd

[00:16:42] [SPEAKER_00]: see yourself in photos from your childhood and think, God such a dorky smile. I look like an

[00:16:48] [SPEAKER_00]: idiot. I was so startled that I screamed and slipped on the tile floor as I tried to run out

[00:16:53] [SPEAKER_00]: at the bathroom. Of course nothing was there when we all went back to check and literally

[00:16:58] [SPEAKER_00]: not one member of my family believed me. They said that it was the mirror but there was no

[00:17:03] [SPEAKER_00]: mirror behind the door and they said that it was my brother. Now this is the discrediting part.

[00:17:10] [SPEAKER_00]: I do have an identical twin brother but you have no idea how insulting it is to tell this

[00:17:14] [SPEAKER_00]: story to people who simply say, oh you saw your twin brother case closed. So I just

[00:17:22] [SPEAKER_00]: wanted to write to get this out there to share it with someone who has done a show on doppelgangers.

[00:17:27] [SPEAKER_00]: I've never forgotten it and it feels like it happened yesterday and it's always confused

[00:17:32] [SPEAKER_00]: me as to why it happened and as to why the other me was smiling. Thanks, John. Our next experience

[00:17:45] [SPEAKER_00]: of the night comes to us from Jaleesa and Jaleesa's story is called Sleep Paralysis at Work.

[00:17:54] [SPEAKER_00]: Jaleesa says, Hello Nick, I listened to your podcast for the first time ever and I fell in love

[00:17:59] [SPEAKER_00]: with it. I wanted to share my weird experience at work. When I lived back home in New York City,

[00:18:06] [SPEAKER_00]: I worked as a housekeeper at this one building that was straight across from the Unity Church

[00:18:10] [SPEAKER_00]: in downtown Manhattan by Wall Street. This church was built in 1697 and also has Alexander

[00:18:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Hamilton buried there. The people who worked at the church told me some scary stories about how

[00:18:23] [SPEAKER_00]: their locker doors would open and close on its own. Working across from the church spooked me out.

[00:18:29] [SPEAKER_00]: I even had to clean the top priest's office which was very dark with red carpeting all over the

[00:18:35] [SPEAKER_00]: office. I truly hated cleaning his office at night as I always felt a weird presence in there,

[00:18:40] [SPEAKER_00]: so I would always go to clean his office first since it was daylight when I got to work

[00:18:45] [SPEAKER_00]: and night by the time I was done cleaning all of my floors.

[00:18:50] [SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, one day I was extremely sleepy and I decided to take a nap in the woman's locker

[00:18:55] [SPEAKER_00]: room in the basement before work. I fell asleep and started having sleep paralysis.

[00:19:00] [SPEAKER_00]: There was a dark figure standing over me just watching me and I couldn't move my body,

[00:19:05] [SPEAKER_00]: but the weirdest part about this experience is usually people including myself would have

[00:19:10] [SPEAKER_00]: sleep paralysis while laying down, but in this case I was sitting down with my head face down on

[00:19:16] [SPEAKER_00]: the table on my arms. This really freaked me out because how was I able to see any figure standing

[00:19:22] [SPEAKER_00]: over me if I was facing downwards? It was almost like I was sitting up face to face with this

[00:19:27] [SPEAKER_00]: dark entity, which wasn't the case. Anyway, thank you for your time Nick. I enjoy all of

[00:20:06] [SPEAKER_00]: to stay with my grandparents on school holidays. They live on a farm in Queensland, Australia.

[00:20:13] [SPEAKER_00]: It was normal for me to spend one to two weeks there while my parents worked because they had

[00:20:18] [SPEAKER_00]: nowhere to put my sister and I during the holidays. My sister and I shared a bedroom there

[00:20:23] [SPEAKER_00]: which had a window facing the road and a clear view for around 5-10 kilometers or 3-6 miles

[00:20:29] [SPEAKER_00]: towards some small mountains. The house which we lived in at the time was in Springfield.

[00:20:34] [SPEAKER_00]: We were right up the back with our fence bordering the Green Bank Army Reserve.

[00:20:39] [SPEAKER_00]: Some more creepy things happened at that house, but those can wait for another day.

[00:20:44] [SPEAKER_00]: At the front of our house was an orange street light which would shine through the

[00:20:47] [SPEAKER_00]: window at night. I would wake up through the night to see this orange light every

[00:20:52] [SPEAKER_00]: night so it was normal for me to see. One night at my grandparents' house on a school

[00:20:58] [SPEAKER_00]: holiday, I woke up through the night and noticed how bright the orange street light seemed.

[00:21:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I was half asleep and woozy, but I snapped out of it really quick when I realized that

[00:21:07] [SPEAKER_00]: I was at my grandparents' house and there were no street lights along the road.

[00:21:12] [SPEAKER_00]: For some reason I was already terrified before I even moved to look out the window.

[00:21:16] [SPEAKER_00]: I had a sense of, just close your eyes and go back to sleep.

[00:21:21] [SPEAKER_00]: But I was also curious as to what was making the orange light.

[00:21:26] [SPEAKER_00]: My bed was right under the window so I sat up and just peeked out the bottom

[00:21:29] [SPEAKER_00]: corner of the window. I froze with fear as I watched something that was shaped like a

[00:21:34] [SPEAKER_00]: desk. It was about 10 to 15 meters wide and around 3 to 4 meters tall.

[00:21:40] [SPEAKER_00]: It was sitting in the field across from my grandparents' house.

[00:21:43] [SPEAKER_00]: It would have only been 150 meters away. It had a bright orange light which seemed

[00:21:48] [SPEAKER_00]: to be rolling around the perimeter of the desk, but like a constant flow of color.

[00:21:53] [SPEAKER_00]: I could see around 7 small and much dimmer orange lights moving around the disc near

[00:21:58] [SPEAKER_00]: the ground, which almost looked like small cheap flashlights.

[00:22:02] [SPEAKER_00]: After about 2 to 3 seconds of me watching this, I got an overwhelming feeling.

[00:22:07] [SPEAKER_00]: It was the strongest feeling that I've ever felt.

[00:22:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And then all the lights stopped moving except for the light around the disc.

[00:22:15] [SPEAKER_00]: I could feel it. They stopped because they knew I was watching them.

[00:22:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't move. I was so scared.

[00:22:22] [SPEAKER_00]: I literally don't remember anything after this.

[00:22:24] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what my sister was doing the whole time as she was also there with me,

[00:22:29] [SPEAKER_00]: but she must have been asleep.

[00:22:31] [SPEAKER_00]: I woke up in the morning and had another look out the window.

[00:22:34] [SPEAKER_00]: It was morning and it seemed like any other normal day on the farm.

[00:22:39] [SPEAKER_00]: I told my grandfather about what I saw and he said,

[00:22:42] [SPEAKER_00]: Ah! It would have been the old mate across the road shooting dingos,

[00:22:46] [SPEAKER_00]: as dingos at the time were bothering his cows.

[00:22:50] [SPEAKER_00]: After this night I had a nightmare which I still have sometimes,

[00:22:53] [SPEAKER_00]: waking up and sweating.

[00:22:55] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm in a different bedroom at my grandparents house

[00:22:57] [SPEAKER_00]: and I'm looking down the hall to see a dark shadowy figure at the end of the hall.

[00:23:02] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to run away but I'm terrified and frozen.

[00:23:05] [SPEAKER_00]: I can't move.

[00:23:07] [SPEAKER_00]: Nothing else ever happens in the dreams.

[00:23:09] [SPEAKER_00]: It's like I'm stuck there and I don't know why I'm running out of that room

[00:23:13] [SPEAKER_00]: as it is a spare room with boxes and old furniture in it.
