317: Unearthly Origins - Ch 3: Black Rectangle Over Idaho, Missing Time in Puerto Rico & Nighttime Visitations

[00:00:00] Tonight, I'll be talking about multiple reports involving bizarre lights in the sky, a listener whose life has been saved by extraterrestrials, and one of the most fascinating eyewitness reports of a massive UFO that I've ever heard.

[00:01:20] April says, Hi, I'm absolutely in love with your podcast and I listen to it every day at work. My story is about some strange lights down on the southern coast of Texas. We have a place in a small coastal fishing town.

[00:01:35] One night when coming down the driveway, we saw some orange lights right above the tree line. We thought it was maybe an airplane or helicopter, but then another light appeared, and then another. They started to move into formations, and while this was happening, one would disappear

[00:01:51] and another would appear. This went on for 10 minutes until they all shot off and disappeared. There was four of us watching these lights that night. My fiancé is a big skeptic, and this has him now questioning things.

[00:02:06] Now about four months later, it seems the whole town saw this again. Someone caught it on video and pictures. There is a coast guard station in this town, and when a local called, they told them that the marines were doing some flare tests.

[00:02:20] I don't think that these things were flares, but I would love some others' opinions. I've attached the video and pictures that were captured. Thank you for having such an amazing place to share stories. April

[00:02:34] After reading her email, I contacted April to inquire more about how the lights moved, and this was her response. At first they just went away like they were turning off, but then another would turn back on.

[00:02:48] Then, when they disappeared, they would shoot straight up, and then they were gone. There is also no other military in the area besides the coast guard. When we saw them the first time, they were not over the water like they were the most recent sighting.

[00:03:02] Also, when they were in the sky, they didn't move around. They would dim and brighten before they finally disappeared. We also know what flares look like, and these did not look like any flares we have ever seen before. Thank you. April

[00:03:39] Hi Nick, I have been recently listening to your podcast on my road trip, and I came across a bunch of episodes about strange lights in the sky. I have an experience about this as well, as those episodes have prompted me to share my experience.

[00:03:54] I was about eleven at the time that this happened. It was late, about ten pm or so, and me and my four other family members, my mom, dad, brother, and grandma were driving home from dinner.

[00:04:05] We were driving over a bridge that crossed a lake, and we saw a single bright light which was clearly visible to all of us. It was large in size and very bright. It had no other color to it, only white.

[00:04:18] At first we thought it might be a helicopter's bright lights, but it wasn't moving at all, and there weren't any green, red, or even another white light near it. It was just that one bright circle of light.

[00:04:30] My family are all skeptics about the paranormal, my grandma the most. I am not however, and truly believe that there are things out there that are not supposed to be understood. What I saw that night was not a helicopter or a plane.

[00:04:43] I don't know how I know that, but I am positive that it was not. I don't know what it was, but I just wanted to share this story with everyone. I feel like I'm the only one who truly believes that whatever this thing was, wasn't normal.

[00:05:24] Hi, I have emailed you an experience already but I've been pondering on whether I should share what I'm about to, but an overwhelming urge came over me, and I think that it will help someone.

[00:05:36] As a society, as a whole we are often told about all the scary stuff involving ETs, and for a while I was undecided, and became confused as a child and into adulthood. My anxiety about hearing such experiences made me fear the worst, but yet I had nice

[00:05:52] experiences involving ETs. In fact, the fear came from my imagination of what was being done that I couldn't remember. It took me until 32 years of age to truly piece together what little I have. I am now 38 years old.

[00:06:09] I would like to share with everyone some of my many experiences with my ET family. When I was about 8 years old, I was laying in bed. We had a bunk bed and I was on top, and next to me was a long, slim window.

[00:06:24] It was the same length as our bed. I saw a bright light coming through it, and then I found myself outside, and looking at a ship which was emitting a light so brilliant that I could hardly see the full shape.

[00:06:37] There was a ramp and a human-shaped being on it. I saw everything except for the head, and I was so overwhelmed with a feeling of excitement like it was a loved one that I hadn't seen in a very long time.

[00:06:48] It was an overwhelming sense of unconditional love, and the last thing I'm allowed to consciously remember is running to this being. Fast forward to my early teens, and I had a friend over for a sleepover.

[00:07:01] We were in the living room, and we were having heat lightning, so I thought that I would go onto our enclosed porch and watch it. As I stood there for a few minutes, I saw someone running on the other side of the road,

[00:07:14] and I thought that it was odd because no one ever comes down here on foot. As it reached a telephone pole, a car which was further up the road went over the hill, and its headlights shone onto this person, and at this point, its legs disappeared.

[00:07:29] Wherever the light hit this being, it just disappeared or was cloaked. Then, within a split second, I had a being in front of my face. Only the glass was between us, and I was face to face with a being with huge black eyes,

[00:07:44] and a bald head, like a typical alien. I was so scared, but I couldn't look away from the eyes. The next thing I knew, I turned around and slowly went back inside. When she saw me, my friend looked at me and said,

[00:07:57] You look like you've seen a ghost. My mind was so mush that I said, I think I did, and she then freaked out. I couldn't understand what happened. Aliens don't just disappear, right? It scared the crap out of me for years.

[00:08:13] I don't know if I lost time, but it always bugged me how I couldn't move. I know that people can be so scared that they can't move, but it wasn't until I was saved by them many years later

[00:08:23] that I realized they had control over me for my protection. In 2014, I had been on my way to a college night class, and I was on the bus. I had recently had an awakening concerning my ET family, and I was reading a book about them.

[00:08:41] As I was about to get off the bus, I heard in my head, You are going to be hit by a car. I wasn't sure if this was a message, but I said that I would take extra care.

[00:08:52] I passed the first crossing okay, and it was drizzling rain so my hood was up, and I was looking slightly down. I pushed the button and waited, and the cars to my left stopped, and the green man came up, and people started to walk,

[00:09:06] so I started to walk as well. The next thing I heard was a woman screaming, and everything seemed to be suspended, and my feelings dulled down. I looked to my right and saw that a car was right at my legs.

[00:09:19] I immediately thought that this driver was going to yell at me, but when I looked into the car, they were looking up, and in my head I heard, There is a ship above you. I then looked back straight ahead, and I began walking slowly.

[00:09:34] I heard the car's engines and the rain, but everything else was slow. As I got safely to the other side of the road, the feeling lifted, and I had a panic attack. I almost died. I believe that scream was someone watching, and wasn't able to stop it.

[00:09:52] When I went home, I was haunted by the feeling that I had, and after days of thinking about it, I remember that when I was a child on the porch, I had the same feeling. They saved me. I will forever be grateful for that,

[00:10:06] and I have told them so. I hope someone out there can be comforted by this. I didn't always have a positive outlook on my journey with my ET family. Stay safe everyone, and many thanks. Melissa Before I continue,

[00:11:20] comes to us from Anna, and Anna's experience is called Sleep Paralysis or Alien Experience. Anna says, Hello, I'm excited to share these stories with you. I started listening to your podcast about a year ago while at work.

[00:11:37] Although I will say that I recently went back and started listening from start to end, although I am not fully halfway, I have listened to your episodes on a later basis, so I know some of them.

[00:11:48] I think this is the time for me to speak out on my sleep paralysis experiences. A majority of these experiences happened to me throughout my life, but were more severe in my teenage years. I wanted to share this specific story because in one of your earlier episodes,

[00:12:03] you mentioned a book about how to survive alien abductions, and it triggered me to remember a lot of my sleep paralysis. If that is what it was. The house that I and my family used to live in always gave me bad paranormal experiences,

[00:12:19] and growing up in that house was not easy. The reason is that no one would believe me about my sleep paralysis or the encounters that I had. When I was a teenager, I would get sleep paralysis on a daily basis,

[00:12:31] but two times in particular stood out to me because they felt so real. The first was when I had fallen asleep, and my dog was next to me that particular night. Something just felt so eerie to me, and there was a very dense feeling.

[00:12:45] I had fallen asleep, and then out of nowhere I couldn't move anything but my eyes. As I looked around my room, I saw three figures. One in front of my bed, one by my door, and one by my closet door.

[00:12:58] The three figures were really tall and skinny, and their eyes were big as well. I started to freak out, and I kept trying to move, but would fail to do so. Eventually, after I got myself out of the sleep paralysis,

[00:13:11] I looked at my dog, and she was as spooked as I was, as if she had just experienced the same thing. After this experience, my sleep paralysis got worse and worse, so much so that I couldn't sleep in the dark,

[00:13:24] and I had to install Christmas lights around my room. I had a laptop that my parents had given to me when I was younger, which had a camera. I had taken pictures in my room, and one day I was looking through them.

[00:13:36] I ended up looking at this one particular picture, in which by my bedroom door, there was a silhouette of what looked like an alien, but I kept trying to convince myself that it wasn't. After finding this picture, my computer crashed completely, not even a day later,

[00:13:52] which I found extremely weird because my computer was virus-free. But, at the time when this happened, I dismissed it. Now, you may ask why I'm mentioning this, and it's because, in general, I feel like it was all connected in some way,

[00:14:06] because I kept having dreams about alien beings, or these tall figures visiting me. In the other sleep paralysis that I've had, I couldn't see these beings, but I could feel their presence, and I could feel like they could read my mind.

[00:14:21] Shortly after it started, I began telling them in my head that they could no longer control me, and to leave me alone. Then, somehow I ended up moving my body, and I broke the paralysis.

[00:14:33] Now, what triggered me after listening to the specific episode about how to escape alien abductions, was when you mentioned how you can break paralysis by moving your fingers. After remembering exactly what happened those few times, it all made sense.

[00:14:47] I will say that I wish I knew why this happened to me in that house. We ended up moving years later, and all the sleep paralysis stopped. The picture that I mentioned earlier was completely lost after buying a new computer.

[00:15:01] I checked the cloud, and all the other pictures were there from that night, except the two of the silhouette, and another picture that was similar to it. Thank you for hearing my crazy story, and I am still trying to figure out what exactly that experience was.

[00:15:17] I have many more experiences that occurred in that house, but that will be for a later time. Our next encounter comes to us from Anonymous, and Anonymous says, Hi, I found your podcast just a week ago, and I'm already in episode 142.

[00:15:36] After listening to so many stories, I guess it would be okay for me to share mine with you. First, a little bit about me. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I spent almost 13 years in the US Army,

[00:15:49] and I am a combat veteran of both Iraq and Afghanistan. I live in North Carolina now. I don't know if this is worth sharing, but here it goes. When I was 13 or 14,

[00:16:02] a friend of mine and I were sitting on the edge of the sidewalk in front of my house. This was the one I grew up in in Puerto Rico. Our town is very small, and it sits between rivers and sugarcane fields to the north,

[00:16:14] and four beautiful mountains to the south. My town actually stops at the foot of the mountains. Anyway, this particular Saturday, around 9.45 or 10 p.m., like any other night that we did this, we were sitting there talking about school, cars, girls, and looking up at the stars,

[00:16:33] when all of a sudden, one star started getting bigger, and it looked like it was moving. It got so close that we could see different colored lights, and even some windows. For a moment it got bright, and it felt to us like a light was shining on us,

[00:16:47] for what probably felt like seconds. Then the light disappeared super fast, and then it was 12.05 a.m. on my watch. I don't know what happened that night, or if anything happened, or if we just lost track of time while talking,

[00:17:03] but my mind has never forgotten about that night, or the bright light. I loved the show, and I wanted to make a podcast since I found them, but I don't have a clue how to, so I'm enjoying yours. Keep up the good work, sincerely. We all appreciate it.

[00:17:24] Our next encounter comes to us from Mackenzie, and Mackenzie's experience is called More Than Just Bright Lights in the Sky. Mackenzie says, Hi Nick, I've been listening to your podcast for about a month.

[00:17:40] I work in a nursery, and it makes tedious stuff like watering and pruning go by fast. I'd like to share the experience that made me a believer in UFOs. I unfortunately have no photos or recordings, so it will never be more than a story,

[00:17:55] albeit one that gives me goosebumps. I'll preface this by saying that I've always been into the supernatural, and I am open to the possibility of things beyond our understanding, but I was never into or knowledgeable about aliens and UFOs, because they honestly scare the crap out of me,

[00:18:11] and it was easier to ignore the whole thing entirely. Since this sighting, it has become somewhat of a hobby to research this stuff, and I have yet to be able to explain what I saw. Thanks for your time, and I hope you enjoy.

[00:18:27] I was driving home from work at a hot springs resort in the summer of 2018. It was just before 10pm when I left for home. As soon as I hit the highway and left the lights of tiny Idaho City, I felt like I was being watched.

[00:18:42] There were no streetlights, stoplights, or public buildings on the highway between where I worked and where I live. We're less than a mile from Boise National Forest, which is more than 2,200,000 acres of largely unpopulated Ponderosa Forest, surrounded on almost all sides by the largest national forest in Idaho,

[00:19:02] including the largest contiguous wilderness area in the United States. The nearest urban area is about an hour from our home, and although it was always a dark and quiet drive, it was usually pleasant. The further I went, the more unnerving the sensation became.

[00:19:19] I kept checking my back seat, looking into the forest, and trying to focus on the distracting noise of my radio. By the time I got home, I was very rattled. I remember practically running into the house, locking the doors and closing the windows and curtains

[00:19:33] because I was so terrified. After probably 15 minutes to half an hour, I had started to settle in a bit. I was telling my boyfriend, and now husband, about the drive while we settled in for the night. But while we were talking about it, he stopped me and asked,

[00:19:49] What is that? We were quiet for a moment, and sure enough, a pulsing sound accompanied by a soft, greenish glow was beginning to fill the bathroom, which was the only east-facing window in our living space. The sound was a quiet, womp, womp, womp,

[00:20:07] and it had the room vibrating. It was a bit like standing next to the huge speakers on a concert stage, although the sound wasn't particularly loud. At first, I think we both thought that it was our wobbly washer and dryer

[00:20:20] before realizing that it was the middle of the night, and no one was using it. We then moved toward the bathroom window, and could see nothing. The sound and light started to fade. Trying to get a better look,

[00:20:33] we both went to the bedroom and turned out the lights. We looked out our giant bay window. The sound and light had completely receded, and we were both now looking at a large object in the sky, over the mountains, which was drifting away from us.

[00:20:49] It was dark, but with rows of white lights on it that blinked like Christmas lights. They blinked one at a time along the side. By the amount of starlight that it blocked out, and the mountain it was directly over,

[00:21:02] we agreed that it had to be almost a mile across. It was difficult to completely distinguish from the night sky, but the line of lights and the space where it blocked out all the stars was long and wide, and a bit rectangular. We both tried to get film,

[00:21:18] but none of the photos came out well enough to show what was actually happening, despite the fact that we were looking at what appeared to be a massive ocean liner in the sky. It drifted slowly, and then disappeared over the mountains, within minutes.

[00:21:32] Almost as soon as it left our sight range, a series of jets, helicopters, and other military vehicles flew over the area toward the direction that the giant oblong object had floated. It was a consistent stream of planes and helicopters for probably ten minutes,

[00:21:47] totaling at least a dozen individual vehicles. We sometimes will see a life flight helicopter, or the occasional carrier helicopter, but never in those quantities. It still gives me goosebumps just thinking about it, whether it was something otherworldly, or technology that is being hoarded by the US government.

[00:22:09] The following are just a couple facts that I wanted to share. First, Starlink satellites launched in 2019, the year after we saw this. Second, there is a military base about 34 miles to the southwest of us. And third, it was a cloudless night,
