357: Strangeness at Night, UFOs, Lifelong Attachment & Something in the Rocking Chair

[00:00:00] Tonight, I'll be looking at some strange occurrences that happen after dark.

[00:00:12] A case involving an entity that follows a listener throughout his life.

[00:00:16] A house that seems to be haunted by a loved one's spirit.

[00:00:20] And a beach in South Carolina that has more than its fair share of high strangeness. This has been going on for quite a while, but I've really begun to pay close attention to it in the past week or so. Sometimes at night, when I'm falling asleep and I'm to the point of twilight, almost completely asleep but I still have a small amount of consciousness, I'm hearing something from almost like a radio or a transmitter.

[00:01:40] It's a very monotone voice, and it's saying what I'm doing.

[00:01:44] For instance, it'll say, long black tentacle looking thing. I jumped up really fast, and of course, found nothing.

[00:03:01] As I'm typing this out, it sounds so silly to me, but when it's happening, it's scary.

[00:03:06] And I do mean scary. And Michael's experience is called... Potential Hereditary Spirit. Michael says, Hey Nick, hope all is well. I'm fairly new to the podcast, but in the brief time listening, I've fallen in love with it. You've not only created a safe space for us to share our experiences, but created a supportive, informative, and interesting community.

[00:05:26] of skeptics. Now very rarely do I admit defeat, but this one has had me stumped for a while now.

[00:05:34] So here it goes. When I was little, I saw things. Specifically, and more often than not, a little girl. She had black hair, a dress which seemed to change with every appearance,

[00:05:40] and she'd always be carrying a book, and even though I couldn't

[00:07:03] see her eyes, I felt threatened by her presence. Now a lot of people seem to think that it could be a guardian angel, reasoning that my fear as mere fear of the unknown, and her book being a record of my life. However, I'm hesitant to agree. If it was, and this book was something to be used for me on my judgment day, it should

[00:08:23] feel like she had an interest in my eyes, and eventually drifted to sleep, later to be woken up by my wife once she got home. But this was the last straw.

[00:09:40] I'm fearful that this will turn into one of those all too common, hey dad this is my new

[00:09:45] imaginary friend moments. and I'll put you in touch with him. Our next experience comes to us from Patrick, and Patrick's story is called Grandparents House. Patrick says, Hey Nick, I am a big fan of your podcast. I listen to it whenever I'm in the car. I have always been a paranormal believer,

[00:11:01] but never had an experience until a couple years ago.

[00:11:05] In 2020, just before couldn't. That night, we stayed in the house so we could get up early the next morning and keep clearing things out. However, when I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, I walked out onto the upstairs balcony that looked out over the living room.

[00:12:23] And this is when I noticed my grandfather's rocking chair moving back and forth, with as in the show notes. And with that being said, I'll be right back after these brief messages.
