[00:00:04] Thank you for listening, and welcome back. I'm your host, Nick Ryan. Tonight's episode is brought to you by my newest supporter, Heath. Thank you for making the show possible.

[00:00:32] Before I start tonight, you might notice that my audio sounds a little different, and that's because lately I've been having some audio issues. So in the meantime, while I'm getting things squared away, please bear with me. With that said, let's begin with our first experience.

[00:00:46] Our first experience of the night comes to us from Jenny, and Jenny's experience is called,

[00:00:53] For the Love of Grandpa.

[00:00:57] Jenny says,

[00:00:58] Hi Nick. For background, I'm a believer in all things paranormal, based on my upbringing and my own experiences.

[00:01:06] You see, my maternal grandmother was a musician and a tarot card reader, and quite bohemian for her time.

[00:01:12] As a family, we all experienced odd things in her New Jersey residence. An item would disappear, and after an exhaustive search, it would reappear exactly where it was.

[00:01:24] I never was afraid, as my grandmother enjoyed these happenings, and called the spirits playful.

[00:01:31] Although my grandfather was her fifth husband, yes, fifth, he was the only grandfather I ever knew.

[00:01:38] He was older and not particularly a fan of young kids.

[00:01:41] However, I was the clear favorite, and he doted on me to the point where my siblings, cousins, and even my grandmother were a little jealous.

[00:01:50] I often stayed overnight, happy to escape my own dysfunctional family, and enjoy the rare opportunity to feel spoiled.

[00:01:58] My grandfather's attention was a saving grace to my unhappy and often sickly youth.

[00:02:04] When he became ill in the late 1970s when I was nine years old, it was really upsetting to me.

[00:02:10] He could no longer navigate the stairwell to reach the only bathroom in the house,

[00:02:14] so my dad installed a small half-bath on the lower level of the home, where my grandpa now stayed full-time.

[00:02:21] I often hung out with him, sneaking him peppermint ice cream at his request, although he wasn't supposed to be eating it.

[00:02:28] He did silly magic tricks, and we played cards all day.

[00:02:33] One evening, my grandmother called my mom in a panic.

[00:02:37] She had been giving herself a tarot card reading as she often did,

[00:02:40] and the King of Hearts card was being crossed by an ace of spades.

[00:02:44] She felt the cards were predicting the death of a loved one, and she redid the reading over and over,

[00:02:50] getting the same result each time.

[00:02:52] She knew that my grandfather was not expected to live much longer, but she was not mentally ready, I guess.

[00:02:59] The doctor said that he would be here long enough to merit building the bathroom, and it had just been completed.

[00:03:05] We were all feeling like things were finally set up in a way that we could care for him,

[00:03:09] and we weren't expecting him to go just yet.

[00:03:12] However, he did in fact pass away the very next morning.

[00:03:17] I was so young and so close to my grandfather that my parents thought that I would not be able to handle the funeral services,

[00:03:24] and I had to stay home.

[00:03:25] I felt sad and very left out.

[00:03:29] My grandmother left town to take a needed break after this,

[00:03:32] and she asked my father to take care of her home for a few weeks.

[00:03:36] I asked to join him on these house checks to feel included and somehow still connected to my grandfather.

[00:03:41] My dad begrudgingly allowed me to come along every day.

[00:03:46] We would go and look around, turn on some random lights, and take in the mail, chat with the neighbors and the like.

[00:03:53] One day though, about a week after we started this routine,

[00:03:56] my dad was adamant that I could not join him that day, and he had no explanation.

[00:04:01] I was really mad.

[00:04:03] I was quite expressive as a kid, so I'm sure that everyone knew that I was not happy with this decision.

[00:04:09] Since I wasn't there myself, I will tell you what my father reported about his visit on that day.

[00:04:16] He arrived at my grandmother's house after the 20-minute drive, and he had to pee really bad.

[00:04:21] After fiddling with the keys and the lock, he then started to climb the stairs to the upstairs bathroom.

[00:04:27] At this point, he claimed that he felt like he hit an invisible wall that made him stop in his tracks.

[00:04:33] He was puzzled by this, but then he recalled the half-bath that was just downstairs, only a few steps away,

[00:04:40] so he rushed there to relieve himself instead.

[00:04:43] When he surveyed the empty house, he found everything in disarray.

[00:04:47] It was obvious that the home had been ransacked.

[00:04:50] He quickly picked up the phone, and this was in the 70s, so it was a regular old wall phone.

[00:04:56] However, there was no dial tone.

[00:04:58] Realizing the phone line had been cut, he ran to a neighbor's house to get help.

[00:05:03] Police arrived, and they found the intruder hiding in that upstairs bathroom, behind the shower curtain.

[00:05:08] He had tried to flee when the police entered, but he was caught.

[00:05:13] The chilling part of this is that the man was armed,

[00:05:15] and surely would have reacted if my dad had rushed into that bathroom.

[00:05:20] We all wondered about many aspects of this strange experience.

[00:05:23] Why did my father not allow me to go that day?

[00:05:26] Well, according to him, he said that he was just not in the mood to hang around,

[00:05:31] and he wanted to make the visit a short one that day.

[00:05:34] But why did he feel stopped by some force on the stairwell before he even remembered about the new bathroom?

[00:05:40] My dad could not explain this, but he was very thankful that it happened.

[00:05:44] As a believer in the spirits, my grandmother maintained that it was my grandpa that was looking over us.

[00:05:50] As a quick bonus happening, I can report that we continued to experience evidence of my grandpa's presence throughout the years.

[00:05:59] When I was graduating high school in 1984, I got to walk the ceremony with my cousin Matt, as we were the same age.

[00:06:07] Although my grandfather in life had been annoyed by the rambunctious boys in the family when we were young,

[00:06:12] he clearly loved all of us, and he would have been very proud on that day.

[00:06:17] It was a hot New Jersey day, and the graduation was standing room only, with the exception of limited seating.

[00:06:24] There was one open chair that was next to my grandmother, which was sat in over and over before the people who eagerly got to the seat

[00:06:31] would eventually look uncomfortable, and would leave shortly after, and go back to standing.

[00:06:37] My mom relayed this strange happening to us afterwards, and my grandmother assured us that our grandpa had attended in spirit,

[00:06:44] and made sure that no one took over his seat.

[00:06:47] We were all skeptical, but it was hard to explain, and it was comforting, so we accepted it.

[00:06:53] And we joked about it over the years.

[00:06:57] Thank you for this amazing podcast.

[00:06:59] I always look forward to hearing everyone's interesting experiences.

[00:07:05] Jenny

[00:07:10] Our next experience comes to us from V, and V's experience is called

[00:07:17] Margaret's Ghost.

[00:07:19] V says,

[00:07:20] Hi Nick, I just found your podcast, and I'm so excited.

[00:07:24] I love the paranormal.

[00:07:25] I am a twinless twin, which means that my twin died at birth,

[00:07:30] and some people believe that this gives you more of a connection with the dead.

[00:07:34] I have had several paranormal experiences myself over the years,

[00:07:38] but my first experience actually came way before I can even remember.

[00:07:42] My mom always tells the story of when I was a toddler,

[00:07:46] and I stood at the doorway to one of the bedrooms in our house,

[00:07:49] pointed, and kept saying,

[00:07:51] Pretty lady.

[00:07:53] When she came to see what I was pointing at, there was nothing there,

[00:07:57] but I kept pointing and repeating myself, and smiling in the direction of the bedroom,

[00:08:02] as if I could clearly see someone standing there.

[00:08:04] I have had other experiences since then, some good, and some very frightening.

[00:08:11] The experience that I want to share today happened in my 40s.

[00:08:15] My husband at the time and I purchased some property where we live in Montana.

[00:08:20] We were ecstatic to get the property because we had been wanting to move out of town,

[00:08:24] and it's an absolutely beautiful spot.

[00:08:26] We both fell in love with the property as soon as we saw it.

[00:08:29] It had been owned by an older lady named Margaret,

[00:08:32] who had passed away, and her family was selling the property.

[00:08:36] There was an old house and several old buildings that needed to be torn down,

[00:08:40] and my husband took on that chore because I was working out of town.

[00:08:44] There were a lot of personal items that had been left in the house

[00:08:47] because the family did not have the room to take everything.

[00:08:50] Not only were there antiques,

[00:08:52] but there were also things like photographs and awards that Margaret had won.

[00:08:56] We didn't have the heart to throw anything away,

[00:08:58] and so we began to pack things up into old roll-top trunks

[00:09:02] that had also been left behind.

[00:09:05] One weekend when I was home and we had our young granddaughter with us,

[00:09:09] we headed up to the old house to continue cleaning items out of it

[00:09:12] before it was going to be torn down.

[00:09:14] We were hauling things into the old garage

[00:09:16] and trying to sort them as much as we could.

[00:09:19] I was in the garage sorting items and putting things on shelves

[00:09:23] while my husband and granddaughter carried armloads of items out for me to go through.

[00:09:28] I was bent down moving items onto a lower shelf

[00:09:31] when suddenly I felt someone tug on the back of my shirt.

[00:09:34] I thought that it was my granddaughter,

[00:09:36] so I turned around to see what she needed.

[00:09:38] There was no one there.

[00:09:40] I tried to brush it off as my shirt being pulled down by my pants or something,

[00:09:44] but it was a strong enough tug and high up enough on my shirt

[00:09:47] that I knew that was not the reason.

[00:09:50] I didn't say anything just then

[00:09:52] because I did not want to scare our granddaughter.

[00:09:56] Later that evening, when I was talking to my husband,

[00:09:59] I told him about what had happened.

[00:10:00] He did not look surprised at all.

[00:10:02] In fact, he smiled and said,

[00:10:04] It was Margaret.

[00:10:06] I looked at him rather confused,

[00:10:08] and he explained to me that for several nights,

[00:10:10] when he had been up at the property taking old cupboards out of the house

[00:10:14] to reuse them in our garage,

[00:10:15] he too had felt something tug on the back of his shirt.

[00:10:19] He said the first time it happened,

[00:10:20] he tried to explain it away by thinking that maybe he'd caught his shirt on something.

[00:10:25] The second time it happened, though,

[00:10:26] the tug was more forceful,

[00:10:28] causing him to stop working and to climb down off the ladder where he had been standing.

[00:10:33] He said that he then just sat down on a box and started talking to Margaret.

[00:10:38] He told her that it must seem very strange

[00:10:40] and kind of scary that people were in her house and taking her things.

[00:10:44] He promised her, though, that we would take good care of the property

[00:10:47] and that we would cherish the items that had been in her house.

[00:10:51] He told her how much we loved the property,

[00:10:53] and he thanked her for taking such good care of it.

[00:10:56] He suggested that I do the same thing

[00:10:59] so that Margaret knew that I, too, was going to respect all the property and her keepsakes.

[00:11:04] So I did.

[00:11:05] The next time we were up on the property,

[00:11:07] I sat down and I told Margaret all of those things

[00:11:10] and how much I loved our new home.

[00:11:12] It felt really good to say those things out loud.

[00:11:15] And nothing like that ever happened again.

[00:11:19] We have a friend who is a sensitive and has had a lot of paranormal experiences.

[00:11:24] She also reads people's auras and is good at reading the energy of houses and properties.

[00:11:29] I was not home the first time that she came over to our new place,

[00:11:33] but my husband told me later that it was kind of nerve-wracking

[00:11:36] because she just kept walking around and around

[00:11:39] and her face wasn't giving away anything.

[00:11:42] She finally told my husband that this was one of the most positive feelings

[00:11:45] and the best energy that she had ever felt from any place that she had ever been.

[00:11:50] That was a relief.

[00:11:52] The property continues to be a very positive area still today,

[00:11:56] years after the incident.

[00:11:58] It truly is magical.

[00:12:00] We have kept our promise to Margaret

[00:12:02] and have taken very good care of the property.

[00:12:06] Thank you for letting me share my story.

[00:12:08] Like I said, I have had several other instances with the paranormal,

[00:12:12] including a run-in with a ghost at the high school,

[00:12:15] the ghost of my dead grandmother reaching out to me from beyond the grave,

[00:12:19] and living with the spirit of my deceased brother-in-law.

[00:12:24] I will save those for another time.

[00:13:04] and I'll be right back,

[00:13:05] after these brief messages.

[00:13:07] Our next experience of the night comes to us from Amber.

[00:13:15] And Amber's experience is called

[00:13:18] Psychic Dreams,

[00:13:19] Followed by Spirit Encounters.

[00:13:23] Hi Nick,

[00:13:24] I want to start by saying I love your podcast,

[00:13:26] and I listen to the stories of others when cleaning houses at work.

[00:13:30] I love all things paranormal.

[00:13:32] I personally have not really experienced anything paranormal,

[00:13:35] despite having a strong belief,

[00:13:37] and my father and aunt having their own encounters before.

[00:13:40] I also wasn't sure if I should share what I experienced,

[00:13:43] but after much thought,

[00:13:45] I decided that what happened to me is too strange not to,

[00:13:48] and it definitely cannot be explained.

[00:13:52] I am a 21-year-old woman living with my boyfriend of the same age in Minnesota.

[00:13:57] These experiences happened between the beginning of December of 2023

[00:14:00] to the beginning of March of 2024.

[00:14:04] Me and my boyfriend, who I will call Zee,

[00:14:07] live in an old mansion that was a nursing home at one point in time.

[00:14:11] Many people ask me if it's haunted.

[00:14:13] I can assure you that it's not,

[00:14:15] even though the outside aesthetic of it says otherwise.

[00:14:19] Zee and I had a surprise pregnancy late last year,

[00:14:22] and when I was about 15 weeks pregnant,

[00:14:24] I had an upsetting dream.

[00:14:27] In this first dream,

[00:14:28] my mother and sister were sitting with my son.

[00:14:31] When I walked over to see him,

[00:14:33] I saw that my son had a severe head deformity.

[00:14:35] I woke up horrified,

[00:14:37] and Zee tried to stay positive,

[00:14:39] telling me that our son would be just fine.

[00:14:42] About a week later,

[00:14:43] at my 16-week ultrasound and echocardiogram,

[00:14:47] the nurses came in one at a time

[00:14:49] to tell us that our son's scans were not normal.

[00:14:52] My dream was correct.

[00:14:54] Our son was missing half a chromosome,

[00:14:57] causing his head to be severely deformed from his brain,

[00:15:00] not splitting into two hemispheres.

[00:15:02] This gene deletion also resulted in other issues

[00:15:06] that ended with us having to say goodbye

[00:15:08] to our first child.

[00:15:10] This was just two days after Christmas.

[00:15:14] I have heard of other women having dreams like this,

[00:15:17] but that wasn't the end.

[00:15:20] My grandma is like me,

[00:15:22] and also believes you can talk to loved ones after death,

[00:15:25] and I have written letters to her mother,

[00:15:27] my nana,

[00:15:27] since her death when I was in high school.

[00:15:30] My grandma had told me that the day my son left us

[00:15:33] that she reached out to nana,

[00:15:34] and asked her to look after my son for me.

[00:15:37] She told my nana to give her a sign

[00:15:39] that she received her request.

[00:15:41] Now, my grandma is always at home

[00:15:43] due to her physical state,

[00:15:44] and she had not seen a single squirrel in the trees

[00:15:47] outside her window for months.

[00:15:49] After she asked my nana for a sign,

[00:15:51] for the first time in a while,

[00:15:53] she saw a squirrel dart into the tree

[00:15:55] and sit on a branch.

[00:15:57] I was surprised when she told me this,

[00:15:59] but we both agreed that it meant that my nana,

[00:16:01] who was a natural mother at heart,

[00:16:03] had found my boy,

[00:16:04] and is keeping his soul safe.

[00:16:08] After the loss,

[00:16:09] Z and I decided to try again,

[00:16:11] and to our surprise we got pregnant right away,

[00:16:14] and I noticed that this second baby

[00:16:16] would have been 18 weeks old on our son's due date.

[00:16:20] This was the age he was when he left us.

[00:16:23] However, just like my first baby,

[00:16:26] I had another dream.

[00:16:28] In this second dream,

[00:16:29] I was hiding my baby in a drawer

[00:16:31] because I did not want anyone to know about them just yet,

[00:16:34] which subconsciously had to do with our choice of waiting

[00:16:37] to give the news of the pregnancy

[00:16:38] to family and friends this time around.

[00:16:41] In my dream,

[00:16:42] my sister came running in to tell me

[00:16:44] that something was wrong.

[00:16:45] I ran to my baby as fast as I could,

[00:16:48] and I held them.

[00:16:50] After a couple of seconds,

[00:16:51] my baby turned a hue of purple

[00:16:53] and slowly disappeared into thin air.

[00:16:56] I woke up immediately after,

[00:16:58] and that is when something completely unexplainable happened.

[00:17:03] When I'm laying in bed,

[00:17:05] Z is to my left,

[00:17:06] and there is a window facing a trunk

[00:17:07] at the foot of our bed on my side.

[00:17:10] As I woke up,

[00:17:11] my eyes opened to see a white figure

[00:17:13] standing next to the trunk on my side of the bed.

[00:17:16] I was calm,

[00:17:17] just staring at them

[00:17:18] and looking at what I was seeing.

[00:17:20] Our room was pretty dark,

[00:17:22] but there was a blue light from our air purifier

[00:17:24] shining toward my bedside,

[00:17:26] and there was a very little light

[00:17:27] through our window curtains.

[00:17:29] Despite the colors in the room,

[00:17:31] the figure looked white,

[00:17:32] but not like a glow.

[00:17:34] It was almost like

[00:17:35] they were standing in a lit room.

[00:17:37] I could faintly see through them,

[00:17:39] and they looked to be about 5'2",

[00:17:41] give or take 1 or 2 inches,

[00:17:43] and they wore a ball cap

[00:17:44] that was sideways

[00:17:45] with a large t-shirt.

[00:17:46] I got the sense

[00:17:47] that it was a young male,

[00:17:49] and his body became more transparent

[00:17:50] from his waist down.

[00:17:53] He was looking my way the whole time,

[00:17:55] and after a few seconds,

[00:17:56] he slowly drifted forward

[00:17:58] toward the window a few inches,

[00:17:59] and then slowly just disappeared

[00:18:02] into nothing.

[00:18:04] The moment that they disappeared,

[00:18:06] I had a rush of panic and fear,

[00:18:08] most likely from the fact

[00:18:09] that I just saw an apparition

[00:18:11] for the very first time in my life.

[00:18:13] I shook Z,

[00:18:14] telling him I just saw someone

[00:18:15] in our room near the window.

[00:18:17] He, of course,

[00:18:18] did not believe I saw a ghost or spirit,

[00:18:20] as he does not believe in them.

[00:18:22] I assumed that I had a hallucination,

[00:18:24] but I've never had one in my life,

[00:18:26] and I'm not schizophrenic.

[00:18:28] He did not look like anyone

[00:18:29] I had seen before,

[00:18:31] and did not make any sense

[00:18:32] as to why I happened to see him

[00:18:34] after such a dream.

[00:18:36] Anyway,

[00:18:37] just like before,

[00:18:38] about a week later,

[00:18:39] I had a miscarriage

[00:18:40] around six weeks.

[00:18:42] My baby was there one second,

[00:18:44] and gone the next.

[00:18:46] Just like my dream.

[00:18:49] I know it seems crazy,

[00:18:50] and I still can't believe it myself.

[00:18:52] Even if what I saw wasn't a spirit,

[00:18:54] I know what I saw.

[00:18:56] I've always had vivid dreams,

[00:18:58] and I try to understand

[00:18:59] what they mean.

[00:19:00] I can't stop thinking about

[00:19:02] how clear these two dreams were

[00:19:03] about my pregnancies.

[00:19:05] Also,

[00:19:05] that they happened a week

[00:19:06] before they came true.

[00:19:07] And seven is my lucky number,

[00:19:10] because it has shown up frequently

[00:19:11] throughout my life.

[00:19:12] The way everything lined up

[00:19:14] in the order of events

[00:19:15] really make me wonder

[00:19:16] how we are connected

[00:19:17] to things in this world.

[00:19:21] If you end up sharing

[00:19:22] my two unexplainable experiences,

[00:19:24] I just want to say thank you.

[00:19:26] I never imagined

[00:19:27] I would have something

[00:19:28] so strange and paranormal

[00:19:29] happen to me.

[00:19:31] To everyone sharing and listening,

[00:19:33] it is very true

[00:19:34] that the paranormal

[00:19:35] hits very differently

[00:19:36] when you're the one

[00:19:37] who experiences it.

[00:19:40] Amber,

[00:19:41] I know all the listeners

[00:19:42] join me in giving

[00:19:43] our condolences,

[00:19:44] and I'm sure

[00:19:45] that when the time is right,

[00:19:47] you and Z will have

[00:19:48] a healthy and happy

[00:19:49] new addition to your family.

[00:19:50] And I also know

[00:19:51] that the ones who passed

[00:19:52] will always

[00:19:54] be with both of you.

[00:19:59] Our next experience

[00:20:00] of the night

[00:20:01] comes to us

[00:20:02] from Thomas.

[00:20:03] And Thomas' experience

[00:20:04] is called

[00:20:07] Grandfather.

[00:20:08] Thomas says,

[00:20:10] Hello everyone,

[00:20:11] I'm new to the podcast.

[00:20:12] I've only been listening

[00:20:13] for about a month.

[00:20:14] I'm a big fan of the show

[00:20:16] and a believer

[00:20:17] in the paranormal world

[00:20:18] as I have had many

[00:20:19] different kinds

[00:20:19] of experiences.

[00:20:21] I currently live

[00:20:22] in Minnesota,

[00:20:22] but the experience

[00:20:24] I would like to share

[00:20:24] is from my childhood

[00:20:25] when I lived

[00:20:26] in Southern California.

[00:20:28] This is the beginning

[00:20:29] of my experiences,

[00:20:30] but first,

[00:20:31] I'd like to share

[00:20:32] a little backstory.

[00:20:34] My grandparents

[00:20:35] were from Connecticut,

[00:20:36] and they moved a lot

[00:20:37] since my grandfather

[00:20:38] was drafted into the Marines.

[00:20:40] When my grandfather

[00:20:41] was nearing the end

[00:20:42] of his 30 years

[00:20:42] in the service,

[00:20:43] they settled down

[00:20:44] outside of a military base

[00:20:46] in Southern California.

[00:20:47] My grandfather

[00:20:48] passed away

[00:20:49] shortly after retirement

[00:20:50] of a heart attack

[00:20:51] about three years

[00:20:52] before I was born.

[00:20:54] My grandmother

[00:20:55] was kept busy

[00:20:56] with all of her grandkids

[00:20:57] that would soon follow.

[00:20:58] I was her favorite

[00:20:59] and spent the most time

[00:21:01] with her.

[00:21:02] The first time,

[00:21:03] I was about six years old

[00:21:04] and staying with her

[00:21:05] for a week or so,

[00:21:06] probably because

[00:21:07] I was out of school.

[00:21:08] It was bedtime

[00:21:09] and I was laying down

[00:21:10] in the back bedroom

[00:21:11] just about ready

[00:21:12] to fall asleep.

[00:21:13] The back room

[00:21:14] was a pretty easy room,

[00:21:16] nothing fancy.

[00:21:17] As you walk in the door,

[00:21:18] to the left

[00:21:19] was a closet.

[00:21:19] The next wall

[00:21:20] had a window.

[00:21:21] The wall across

[00:21:22] from the door

[00:21:23] and closet

[00:21:24] had the bed,

[00:21:25] and the wall

[00:21:25] to the right

[00:21:26] was between

[00:21:27] the bedroom

[00:21:27] and my grandmother's room.

[00:21:29] The lights were out

[00:21:31] and everyone

[00:21:31] in the house

[00:21:32] was asleep

[00:21:32] or almost asleep.

[00:21:33] I was just getting

[00:21:35] into the comfy spot

[00:21:36] to doze off

[00:21:37] when the closet door

[00:21:38] slowly opened

[00:21:40] about two feet.

[00:21:41] It startled me at first,

[00:21:43] but I had this

[00:21:44] comfortable feeling

[00:21:45] of love

[00:21:46] as well as familiarity,

[00:21:48] and then I heard

[00:21:49] the sound

[00:21:49] of a calm,

[00:21:50] soothing man

[00:21:51] humming a song

[00:21:52] that I have never heard,

[00:21:53] but it felt

[00:21:54] so familiar.

[00:21:56] Out stepped a man

[00:21:57] that stood

[00:21:58] about five foot five.

[00:21:59] He had thin hair

[00:22:00] on his head

[00:22:01] and a scruffy beard

[00:22:02] with a goldy bronze

[00:22:04] colored thin framed

[00:22:05] pair of glasses on.

[00:22:06] He had on

[00:22:07] a Hawaiian print shirt

[00:22:08] that was buttoned

[00:22:09] from the first button down

[00:22:11] and a pair

[00:22:12] of tannish shorts on.

[00:22:13] The smell

[00:22:14] of sweet

[00:22:14] tropical coconut sunscreen

[00:22:16] overtook the room.

[00:22:18] The man then realized

[00:22:20] that I was sitting there

[00:22:21] in awe

[00:22:21] and very calmly

[00:22:22] called me by my name

[00:22:24] with a smile

[00:22:25] made of gold

[00:22:25] and he told me

[00:22:26] to go back to bed

[00:22:27] and that he was sorry

[00:22:29] for having woken me up.

[00:22:30] I remember telling him

[00:22:32] that I had just

[00:22:33] laid down.

[00:22:34] He walked over

[00:22:35] to the bed

[00:22:36] smiling

[00:22:36] and humming

[00:22:37] that sweet tune

[00:22:38] that to this day

[00:22:39] I don't recognize.

[00:22:40] He leaned over

[00:22:41] and he kissed me

[00:22:42] on my forehead

[00:22:43] and he told me

[00:22:44] that he loved me

[00:22:45] and to go back to bed.

[00:22:47] I had closed my eyes

[00:22:49] to embrace his kiss

[00:22:50] and when I felt

[00:22:51] that he was done

[00:22:52] I had opened my eyes

[00:22:53] to tell him

[00:22:53] that I loved him too.

[00:22:55] But he was gone.

[00:22:57] However,

[00:22:57] I could still smell

[00:22:58] that sunscreen

[00:22:59] in the room.

[00:23:00] I knew who he was

[00:23:02] from all the pictures

[00:23:03] in the house.

[00:23:04] I laid there

[00:23:05] in tears of joy

[00:23:05] because I had finally

[00:23:06] met this amazing man.

[00:23:08] I would like to remind everyone

[00:23:09] that he had died

[00:23:10] three years before

[00:23:11] I was born.

[00:23:13] Nobody ever had a bad thing

[00:23:14] to say about him.

[00:23:15] In fact,

[00:23:16] everyone said

[00:23:17] the same thing.

[00:23:18] He was sweet,

[00:23:19] loving,

[00:23:20] caring,

[00:23:21] loyal,

[00:23:21] and his family

[00:23:23] meant everything to him.

[00:23:24] Everyone was always

[00:23:26] so surprised

[00:23:26] that he was a tough marine.

[00:23:28] He never passed

[00:23:29] any kind of judgments

[00:23:30] on people

[00:23:31] and he took everyone in

[00:23:33] as part of his family.

[00:23:35] When I woke up

[00:23:36] the next morning,

[00:23:37] I went into my grandmother's room

[00:23:39] and I laid in bed with her

[00:23:40] as she was just chilling.

[00:23:42] She asked me

[00:23:43] how I slept

[00:23:44] and why I was in

[00:23:45] such a good happy mood.

[00:23:46] I then told her

[00:23:47] that grandpa

[00:23:48] had come to see me

[00:23:49] last night.

[00:23:50] We had a great conversation

[00:23:52] about how much

[00:23:53] he would have loved

[00:23:53] to have been

[00:23:54] around all the grandkids

[00:23:55] and the family.

[00:23:58] All of my uncles

[00:23:59] that married into the family

[00:24:00] were marines.

[00:24:01] When it came time

[00:24:02] to the grandkids

[00:24:03] becoming of age though,

[00:24:04] I was the only one

[00:24:05] that dreamed

[00:24:06] of becoming a marine.

[00:24:07] However,

[00:24:08] I wasn't able to enlist

[00:24:09] due to health problems.

[00:24:11] No matter how much

[00:24:12] I tried

[00:24:13] and harassed the recruiter,

[00:24:15] I wasn't able to.

[00:24:17] I have so many

[00:24:19] paranormal encounters

[00:24:20] and would love

[00:24:20] to share them.

[00:24:21] I am so grateful

[00:24:22] for what you do here

[00:24:23] and how respectful

[00:24:24] you are

[00:24:25] of all the personal stories

[00:24:26] that come across

[00:24:27] your desk.

[00:24:30] Sincerely,

[00:24:31] Thomas.

[00:24:36] I hope you all

[00:24:37] enjoyed tonight's episode

[00:24:38] and before I go,

[00:24:40] I'd like to thank

[00:24:40] Jenny,

[00:24:41] V,

[00:24:42] Amber,

[00:24:43] and Thomas

[00:24:44] for coming forward

[00:24:45] with their experiences.

[00:24:46] And if you'd like

[00:24:47] to share your

[00:24:48] paranormal encounter

[00:24:49] or learn more

[00:24:49] about supporting the show,

[00:24:51] you can find all my contact

[00:24:52] and support information

[00:24:59] Until next time,

[00:25:01] thank you so much

[00:25:01] for listening

[00:25:02] and please remember,

[00:25:04] don't wait for the unknown

[00:25:05] to come to you,

[00:25:07] get out there,

[00:25:08] and find it.
